true greatness

... I just finished reading the story of
Dhruva Maharaja, the last great emperor
of the entire earth, who ruled back in the
last Golden Age on this planet

... a 5 year old child, son of the king,
but by a lesser wife, is sent out into
the wilderness, alone, almost to a certain
death

... but surprise! Instead of succumbing to
the wilderness, Dhruva Maharaja somehow
manages to survive, thru a great spiritual
journey in which Vishnu appears to him

... years later, he emerges from the
wilderness in total psychic control
over the world. The bugs won't bite him,
wolves kneel in his prescence.

... he returns to the king's castle, with
a great welcome by all sentient creatures

... he ruled the world as a good emperor
for 10,000 years, then was allowed to go
live on the pole star, so everything always
revolves around him, the greatest ever
