... I just read this quote from a TED Talk by
Martin Rees, the UK Royal Astronomer.


And I'd like to finish with a quote from a great scientist
called Peter Medawar. I quote, "The bells that toll for
mankind are like the bells of Alpine cattle.
They are attached to our own necks, and it must be
our fault if they do not make a tuneful and
melodious sound."


... the human race has a sort of collective free will,
the so-called mass-conciousness, but what if it becomes
suicidal?

... what if the conditions on earth got so bad,
that we collectively plead to God and the heavens above,
to triage us out of our misery?
