at the end of my first ekadasi

... well, fasting isn't all it's cracked up to
be, it makes you hungry

... I'm getting my morning rice going right
now, and as soon as sunrise comes, I believe
I will be digging in

... it wasn't a perfect fast, but not eating
anything, for me, is almost torture, so I feel
I made a successful sacrifice

... it wasn't a perfect fast, but I ain't perfect,
either :-)

... it was a time to reflect and be sorry for
all the stupid things we did in the past, to
be forgiven by Lord Damodora, the child incarnation
of Krishna, who was punished by his mother,
for breaking open the butter jars, a sneaking
some

... an earth woman punishing the incarnation
of God on earth

... I always wanted to be free of the burden
of needing to eat food, like a true Breatharian
would, but you start to doubt your commitment
to your goal, around 5 in the afternoon, on
a cool fall day, when that jar of peanuts
starts to look like the best thing on earth

... I'm a sucker for ice cream. To me, this
is the Land of Milk and Honey, it's where
affordable ice cream can be had

... in the spirit of the fast, I was wondering
if the Desire Trees in the Vedic heavens,
dispense ice cream?

... having karma-free ice cream, sure would
make my heavenly realm happier

... on earth, it just makes me fat :-(
