the inverted tree of life

... I'm learning pretty fast now, and have come
to the realization that my whole view of life
was inverted

... I , along with the rest of you, have had the
concept in our brains, of life being simulated
by the branches of an upwardly growing tree

... we make connections, and our branches just
keep expanding, but from the earth up, our
roots are in the earth

... the reality, as shown to me by the Srimad
Bhagavatam, is that we are an inverted tree.
Our roots are actually in heaven, and we make
our branches as penetrations into the material
world ... and we get stuck, like in the La Brea
tar pits

... therefore, to successfully leave earth, and
to at least make it to the Vaikunthas, one must
prune off all attachments to earth, usually
starting with your family

... the branches we have made, slowly are pruned
off, until the one great day comes, when all
attachments are gone, and the root is free,
to once again, move about in heaven

... of course, some people like it on earth,
and want to stay here forever, just re-incarnating
over and over

... that is their attachment, not mine, but I dare
say, the future does look mighty appealing with
genetic body part replacements and anti-gravity
vehicles ... for those who can afford them
