what, me worry?

[alfred e]

... I saw in the news today that Al Feldstein,
one of the great minds behind Mad Magazine,
has died

... I was raised on Mad Magazine. I remember
in my youth, having my appendix out, and my cousin
brought me a giant stack of Mad Mags for me to read
while I recuperated

... I have to say, if you want to understand my
sense of humor, just remember, I was molded by
Mad Magazine ... and was shown the hypocrisy
in society ... and now my sense of humor
is backed up by a maniac's intellect

... it's like seeing women, or movie stars,
without their fancy makeup on ... the truth
revealed ... and usually it is funny

... and you see, how the make-up air-brushes the
truth, to make reality more pallatable

... if I was to get a tatoo, the only thing
I might consider is: What? Me worry?
