happy winter solstice

... well it is the shortest day of the year,
in the northern Hemisphere, the Winter
Solar Minimum. On the bright side, the
days do start getting longer now

... we hit rock bottom

... it got me thinking how fragile our
human civilization is, here on the surface
of the earth

... we sometimes take the sun for granted, but
if it wasn't for these emergency giant bonfires,
which God sets to keep us warm, our human lives
would not be possible

... with liquid water turned to ice

... so even though I've been trained to believe
in the going-around-the-sun merry-go-round, my
third eye tells me something else is occurring

... so I thank the Sun God, Ishvara, father
of mankind ... for just shining, and continuing to
shine, so we unaware humans can go on with our own
private fairytale lives

...Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudeva Ya
